Ohio and Jamaica for break, its like biscuits and gravy, its all good!

stupid people are everywhere and can be really annoying. The funny part about this statement is how many people can hear it or read it and think "dude, he's totally right, I'm sick of stupid people." But the ironic part is how many of those people are probrably stupid people.

Semester is starting to wear me out, sorry if im a little bitter.

Who knew trying to put together a trip of college students to go to Jamaica over break would be such a gigantic task and who also knew how everything would come together so smoothly. The Lord is Good.

My phone bill was really high because of all my calls to people in Jamaica. I miss them mucho. Can't wait to see them again.

Reading through Rob Bell's book "Sex God". Really like it so far, the man is the modern day Calvin. He isn't a read for new Christians but he's phenominal for discerning minds.

I'm liking guitar class and im already able to play a few brand new songs which makes my day. not very well i might add but i know the chords to the songs. I should start a band like everyone i know has. except well actually try and sound good.

Wow man, i need to start writing in here. This is a good place to write. Whenever i have those rare moments of Genius i will write them down on here like i used to.

 So I'm out friday to the Big KC and then sunday off to Jamaica.

In the end i am glad i will not be at Geneva this summer. I want a break. I need a break from being an RA and i just need to cool my jets or it will end with my fists in some people's faces. I learned alot the year and i think everyone did too. That our friendships which we thought were so great and deep were really actually quite shallow. When the crap hit the fan we went to take a shower instead of enduring the situations together. So we went into Young second floor as a united floor who cared deeply about each other and left with bitter hearts and broken friendships. We need a summer to get away. I leave Geneva to come home and find that it isn't any different. Everyone is bitter toward each other and I am just as much at fault for this as any other. I am ready to leave for another country, to get away. Hopefully when we come back in the fall we will have learned that even though we got on each others nerves during the school year we will come back and be able to recognize the fact that we are brothers and we would do anything for each other. If not then my 3 years of RAing were completely in vain. I am not a camp counselor, i did not take the job to just have a fun summer and then leave. I took the position to be a part of people's lives. for good and for bad. I guess i just didnt realize how bad it would get. But I am doing my best.

I guess I'm just ranting because i'm just fed up with this past year. I promise i will be fine by the fall but right now i am burned out on the job.
